If you like this layout of December freebie do not subcut your 1″ strips from each fabric. You will have to measure as you go. Reference the picture for Fabric placements.
1. Begin with the first square block, measure the appropriate side and cut a 1″ strip to match.
2. Measure the adjacent side and cut a 1″ strip in the correct fabric.
3. Continue building around the square, measuring each side as you go.
4. Continue until there are 10 strips on each side (5 of each alternating fabric)

Christmas Season!

Well it is a week into December and the holidays are upon us. Here is a little Free Pattern “Grinch” to tickle your fancy over the break. We made our out of the “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” fabric line, but it could be done in any fabric you like! Who says it even has to be Christmas-ee, how cute would this be done for a birthday quilt?!

Hope everyone’s holidays are merry and bright! See you all soon,

BK
